Bet on the satellite
In 2011 NASA warned the world that his Satelite, UARS, was in a collision course with earth and that 26 of its components would survive the atmospheric entrance and crash in an unknown location.
To take advantage of this opportunity we created a website where people from all around the world could try to guess where the parts would land.
In only 3 days we had 500 entries, without any type of promotion or paid media. And just out of curiosity, and in case you’re wondering, the parts landed in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. You’re welcome.
